5 ORGANIZATION TIPS YOU NEED TO TRY THAT ACTUALLY WORK

Starting you own business is an exciting idea, you get to make your passion your work and build that dream, reach your goals. One of the best parts of running your own business, is the opportunity to manage your own schedule. Well, that may sound less confusing than it actually is. A big challenge that comes with this, is how to get organized.

The truth is, you may not be working on a 9 to 5 job anymore, but that doesn’t mean you have to forget about planning your day.

TODAY, I BRING YOU 5 ORGANIZATION TIPS FOR ENTREPRENEURS, THAT WILL HELP YOU BE ON TOP OF YOUR GAME EACH DAY.

1. WAKE UP EARLY

I’m not a morning person, I have to admit it, but waking up early will help you get the most out of the day. It will give you more time to get everything done, not only work related, but tackle your personal goals as well. This will help you have a balance, between those two.

Most entrepreneurs work from home, at least at first. So, making time to workout, eat right and take breaks is very important. And it all starts with waking up early.

Create a routine that works for you and stick to it. Write it down, so that it stays in your mind until you get used to it. Plan ahead how many hours you are going to work each day, your workout sessions, meal times and also make space for your hobbies.

2. WRITE THINGS DOWN

When you have that much to do in the day, you need to write things down. There’s no other way to make sure you complete each task. Even though you may think you will remember each and every single appointment or idea, give yourself a break and just put it in your to-do list.

3. DEFINE YOUR GOALS FOR EACH DAY

You may have a long to-do list each day, but you need to prioritize, so that you don’t feel overwhelmed and make sure you don’t jump from task to task.

Define your goals for the day, focus on the top 10 and move the rest to the next day. If you get time to complete more, great! But if you don’t, it’s Ok.

4. MAKE TIME FOR YOURSELF

When you work in what you love, time goes by incredibly fast. One minute it’s only 10 AM, and the next one it’s 10 PM…and you are still working.

Even though you love your work, you need to take breaks and make time for yourself each day. Not only on the weekends. Take that time to go for a walk, go out with your friends, read a book, anything that can help you relax. This way, you will have even more ideas for your business.

5. DELEGATE IF YOU NEED TO

Yes, I know, it’s your business and you are the only one who knows how everything works. You know what you like and what you don’t. Trust me, I know the feeling. But if you are planning in growing your business, then you will need to delegate certain tasks.

When your budget allows it, think about what areas of your day you can get some help on. Maybe is your social media, creating blog posts or images for your products. This way, you will be able to focus on the creative part, and reduce the time you invest in so many other activities.
